Position Summary:

The Manager provides direct, proactive leadership to the line maintenance field team in order to maintain and maximize LiveTVÁ’s service and support. The Manager assures the highest level of Customer satisfaction in order to meet the profitability objectives of the Company.
Essential Functions:
Assures customer satisfaction and execute programs in accordance with agreed terms and conditions; maintains a set budget for line maintenance expenditures, control those expenditures, regularly review the budget with the Director, Maintains, develops and implements any necessary corrective measures to maintain the budget on plan; and define, set and meet objectives (25%)
Provides direct managerial support to the Line Maintenance Team at multiple locations, for scheduling and staffing efforts required to deliver LiveTV maintenance, and for training and product support services which include post-installation support, on-board service, emergency service and support, customer service support, depot support, product reliability and performance measurement, and business operations (25%)
Plans, budgets, staffs and subcontracts as necessary to meet all warranty and post-warranty service and support obligations; directs the delivery of all required Customer line maintenance and flight crew training; oversees the development and maintenance of a tracking database management system and methodology for product failure reporting and corrective action; and provides management support to other Line Maintenance functions as necessary (e.g., repair center Á– technical and administrative, space parts provisioning and logistics, etc.) (15%)
Creates viable, global Line Maintenance policies with and through subordinates to assure that these policies are accepted and followed by Teammembers and subcontractors (15%)
Addresses any problems and keeps the management team regularly informed of status, challenges and major accomplishments (20%)


Experience:
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or General Education Development Diploma (GED) required
Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) valid Airframe and Powerplant license that meets Federal Aviation RegulationsÁ’ recent experience requirements
Minimum of eight (8) years related experience in the commercial airline and/or aviation product support field with a minimum of four (4) years supervisory experience.
Experience in avionics repair and maintenance preferred, ideally in an in-flight entertainment industry
Working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations and Joint Aviation Regulations compliance and regulatory requirements required
Knowledge of relational database management preferred
Regular attendance and punctuality
Ability to travel both domestically and internationally

Well groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance
Possess and maintain a valid Driver License and a record that meets our parent companyÁ’s (JetBlue Airways) insurance standards
Valid Passport with the ability to travel in and out of the United States
Pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable Teammembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Computer literate in various PC based Windows software programs
Ability to read, analyze and interpret General Term Agreements, financial reports and legal documents
Ability to respond cogently and succinctly to inquiries or complaints from Customers, regulatory agencies, senior management, or members of the business community
Ability to effectively, concisely and professionally present information to Customers and management
Ability to perform routine and complex mathematical operations as required for job performance
Ability to read, understand and communicate the essence of financial statements, budgets, and cash flow forecasts
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
Ability to interpret various data formats and categories and deal with several abstract and concrete variables in arriving at a solution
