The Kohler Co. IT Security Team is continuing its expansion in 2008. With this expansion, we are currently seeking a Systems Analyst - Security Infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for security, for development of solid and detailed processes, and for working in tight-knit, hardworking security teams. Previous experience is required with security technology administration.

GENERAL SCOPE
This position is for an IT/Network security engineer who will be an integral member of the Kohler IT Security Team. This Team has global responsibility for ensuring the security of Kohler Company's networks, computers, and applications that support all of Kohler's product divisions and manufacturing.

This position is expected to participate in all aspects of IT/Network security to include areas such as data privacy in PII and PCI Credit Card data, standard security technologies (Firewall, Antivirus, Antispam, authentication methods, content filtering, IPS/IDS, VPNs, etc.), policy creation & enforcement, build & maintenance procedures, documentation of standards, assessing security vulnerabilities and proposing solutions, ensuring business critical applications are deployed & maintained in a security manner, incident response/CIRT, security event management/correlation, etc. This team interacts with numerous departments and multiple levels of employees and management.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Implement, manage, and advise on security within all Kohler systems and applications. Design, implement, and maintain security protection technologies. Assist in any security projects, audits, go-live activities, etc. Participate in projects and operational activities given to the security team.

Develop detail system and program specifications. Develop system documentation and user procedures. Prepare test data. Coordinate/perform system and program testing. Coordinate/perform system and program implementation and modification. Research systems and programs to determine causes of failure or poor operational performance; then define, test and implement detailed solutions.

Provide analysis, counsel, and direction to personnel of operating units to analyze problems and develop solutions, as well as assure efficient operation of existing systems and programs. Maintain an understanding of business processes and the implications of computer systems on these processes.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree required preferably in Information Technology, Business, Supply Chain or related field. Under some circumstances Associate Degree in Information Technology and minimum 3 years experience will be accepted. 2-4 years IT Security and systems/network administration experience. Some experience in the technologies and processes designed to protect confidential personnel HR data, or credit card data is required. Prefer candidates with working knowledge of data privacy laws and PCI from a technical/IT Security perspective. The ability to read, write, and speak Mandarin, French or Mexican Spanish is a strong plus.
