Engineering Associate for Boston, MA
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Performs a variety of environmental engineering tasks in support of remedial investigations, feasibility studies, detailed designs and construction activities for a variety of hazardous and solid waste projects. These tasks consist of developing and executing investigation programs, completing investigation or construction field assignments (as needed), supporting remedial designs, writing reports and technical specifications, performing calculations, and developing design drawings.
Prepares or assists in preparing fundamental engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and designs. Assists in the preparation of detailed requisitions for material purchase, services, and subcontracts.


ESSENTIALS:
BS in Civil / Environmental Engineering or geology with an additional 0 to 3 years of related work experience.
Must have good technical writing and communication skills as well as be independent and resourceful.
Engineer in Training (EIT) Certificate is preferred, but not required.
Must be proficient with Microsoft software.
24 or 40-hour HAZWOPER training and AutoCAD experience a plus.
