Position Summary:
The Supervisor oversees the safe and accurate maintenance of all LiveTV systems aboard aircrafts. In addition, the Supervisor provides direction and guidance to the Maintenance Teammembers.
Essential Functions:
Á• Ensures that all LiveTV maintenance being performed on aircraft is in accordance with the airlineÁ’s procedures (15%)
o Directly communicates with the airlines Maintenance Control and Planning departments to address LiveTV related issues
Á• Provides direct supervisory support to the line Maintenance Technicians at their assigned station(s) (25%)
o Provides work assignments and job guidance to the line Technicians
o Assists with technical training to ensure that Teammembers are properly trained on the LiveTV system
o Monitors work schedules to ensure that the line stations are operating effectively
o Ensures that all line stations are conducting operations in a safe manner
Á• Provides reports as directed by the LiveTV Manager and LiveTV Director of Maintenance (10%)
o Provides system reliability reports, station efficiency reports, manpower assessment reports, as well as other reports
Á• Performs maintenance and repair of the LiveTV Systems on a daily basis (35%)
o Ensures that all work performed is in accordance with applicable regulations
o Covers station maintenance when additional manpower is needed
o Performs maintenance on aircraft which require thorough system knowledge to perform troubleshooting and repair
Á• Ensures methods are in place so that serviceable materials and parts are used for the tasks performed (5%)
o Ensures that regulatory and airline processes are followed so that only airworthy parts are installed by LiveTV Technicians on aircraft
o Monitors station inventories to ensure accuracy and that correct quantities are on hand
Á• Performs other delegated duties as required (10%)
Experience:
Minimum Qualifications:
Á• Two (2) years College or Technical School
Á• Two (2) years of supervisory experience in the aviation field
Á• Strong technical background preferably in the Aviation Line Maintenance Environment
Á• Valid Federal Aviation (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant Certificate
Á• Federal Communication Commission (FCC) License preferred but not required
Á• Valid passport with the ability to travel in and out of the United States
Á• Regular attendance and punctuality

Á• Well groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance
Á• Pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
Á• Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
Á• When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable Crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
