RESPONSIBILITIES:
To ensure completion of raw material, in-process, finished, process validation, cleaning validation and stability product testing.
Verify cGMP laboratory documentation.
Write and approve technical reports for method validations, site qualifications, memos and investigation reports.
Coordinate and assist with the development and validation of analytical methods and site qualifications.
Assist staff with troubleshooting, instrument maintenance, and analysis techniques.
Assist in training personnel on new procedures and analyses.
Review and approve laboratory data and reports.
Schedule weekly and yearly objectives and conduct periodic reviews of direct reports.
Coordinate testing schedules with purchasing, production, finishing and maintenance.
Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
· Minimum of BS/BA in chemistry or related science with minimum of 6 yrs experience.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
· Must demonstrate ability and knowledge to supervise laboratory operations, thorough knowledge of GMPs, ability to make technical decisions, and develop policies and procedures.
· Accuracy, thoroughness, attention to detail.
· Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel.
· HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV/Vis, and AA experience.
· Strong communication and organizational skills and strong knowledge of cGMPs.
