Online Assisted Support is a web application where customers can submit support requests for the world's largest software company's products. The application involves several screens (Product selection page, customer differentiation page, support option page, PID page, select payment page, problem description page, contact information page and confirmation page) that guide the user to successfully submit their support incident. The support incidents are routed to the support professionals who process the incidents based in the information collected from the customer by OAS.
Responsibilities
· Design, develop, debug and optimize customer differentiation, support option, PID and select payment pages for OAS 5.0 and 5.1.
· Trouble shooting various aspects of OAS like certificate, configuration, installation, build and production issues.
· Release, fix bugs and get various OAS builds certified by the OAS test team.
· Writing Unit tests and design documents for OAS functions and pages. Develop ad-hoc tools to validate the supporting XML for the OAS pages.
· Fixing various security issues and getting OAS certified by the Microsoft security team.
· Availing the capabilities of the windows workflow foundation in OAS 6.0 re-architecture.
· Investigating and communicating various aspects of OAS to the project manager and other teams.
Environment: Microsoft Windows 2003 server, Visual Studio 2005 & 2008, ASP.NET 2.0, C# 2.0 & 3.5, Web Services, FxCop, StyleCop, JavaScript, HTML/DHTML, Microsoft Product Studio, Microsoft Source depot, XML.
