Culligan has an exciting opportunity for a qualified Mechanical Engineer in our New Product Development Department.
Proficiency in SolidWorks is required, including solid modeling and drawings.
Candidate must have experience in designing injection molded plastic parts
Candidate needs to be comfortable and proficient working in a very fast paced new product development environment
Candidate must display strong communication and presentation skills
Candidate needs to have a solid understanding of engineering fundamentals, including routinely utilizing hand calculations of stresses, deflections, forces, moments etc. in sizing & evaluating designs.
The ideal candidate will have;
Soildworks proficiency on SW2007 or later
Experience in designing injection molded plastic products, preferably for high volume production
Experience in water treatment, fluid handling (piping, pumps, valves and/or liquid tight sealing).
Experience in FEA and/or CFD
Experience in laboratory testing of fluid handling devices or equipment.
BS Degree in Engineering (probably Mechanical)
10-15 years of Mechanical Engineering experience is preferred
