Culligan currently has an exciting opportunity for a seasoned, professional Director of Sales and Operations Planning. This high visibility position will interact routinely with top executives at Culligan and will drive the entire planning process.


  • Develop and manage the Sales and Operations Planning Process (S&OP) for Culligan International.
  • Drive input from Sales, Marketing and Product Management to improve the overall supply chain efficiency.
  • Develops statistical reports reflecting sales trends within a product category and sales channel for translation into replenishment forecasting. Utilizes statistical forecasting techniques and software tools to analyze sales history, promotional data and on hand inventory levels. Utilizes these tools to create baseline forecasts for Merchandise and Service Parts sales plans.
  • Collaborates with internal process partners and strategic vendors by gaining expertise with Collaborative Planning Forecasting and Replenishment.
  • Works with Customer Service, Strategic souring, Product Management and Buyers to plan for supply constraints and closes the gap between demand based forecasts and sales goals.
  • Analyzes SKU rationalization strategies and working closely with Product Management recommend disposition strategies. Differentiates planning and forecasting processes between core and non-core SKU’s with significant attention to core items.
  • Manages the Demand Management Process to ensure consistent and formal information flows and process participation.


  • Deep statistical background and strong analytical skills
  • Understanding of Supply Chain principles and Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP)
  • Experience with supply chain and demand planning software applications
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with various disciplines within the business
  • QAD software experience preferred
  • Excellent skills required in Microsoft Access and Excel
  • Minimum of five years experience preferred.
