KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

A successful candidate will take on a key leadership role in an already robust and growing national practice providing specialized federal tax consulting to clients ranging from middle market companies to the Fortune 500. The practice is located throughout Crowe's footprint and offers excellent advancement potential. The candidate will have regional sales and project management responsibility. Due to the tremendous opportunities, a hard-working, well-organized professional will have the autonomy to be an integral part of the success of an already mature practice. Current service offerings include:

-Research and Experimentation Credit
-Cost Segregation
-Transaction Cost Recovery Services
-Inventory and Income Tax Accounting
-Meals & Entertainment
-Domestic Production Deduction
-Tax Controversies
-FAS 109/FIN 48

A successful candidate will be prepared to assist the current leadership in expanding revenue by working with practice offices on existing clients and external opportunities coming through our business development team. Consideration will be given to hiring within any of Crowe's offices but the preferred location is in the Chicago area.

QUALIFICATIONS:

-Bachelor's degree in accounting
-CPA or JD or JD/LLM recommended
-7+ years experience, preferably with a large firm
-Experience in leading large consulting projects
-Good interpersonal/sales development skills.
