Disney Interactive Studios (DIS) is the interactive entertainment arm of The Walt Disney Company. DIS publishes a broad portfolio of creative, innovative and dynamic video games on multiple platforms for audiences of all ages. DIS games are based on the wide range of intellectual properties of The Walt Disney Company and its subsidiaries, including feature film, television and publishing. BVG owns two internal video game development studios, Avalanche Software based in Salt Lake City, Utah, and Propaganda Games located in Vancouver, British Columbia.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Back up the Manager as a central contact for all departments within DIS for various questions and requests
Assist in managing information across all departments within DIS as it pertains to 1st parties. This includes summarizing and distributing press releases, memos, and other pertinent information in a timely manner
Interface daily with various executives and members of the DIS staff.
Help to coordinate DIS attendance at 1st Party events (i.e. conferences, meetings, etc)
Work with Sales and Operations to complete the monthly 1st party Manufacturing forecast reports
Review and send concept & evaluation submissions to our 1st parties and follow through to approval
Work with Marketing to gather assets for 1st Party co-marketing opportunities (websites, events, publications, tours, etc)
Assist the Manager with special projects
EDUCATION:
BS degree in Business Administration
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Organized, professional, and responsible individual who is detail oriented and able to multi-task
Must be a ''team player'' and open to helping others when needed
Excellent interpersonal, follow-up, and communication skills
Experience with gaming industry a plus and strong interest in vidogames is required.
Must be able to adapt to quickly changing situations, maintain tact and composure in a fast paced business environment.
