Disney Consumer Products (DCP) is the business segment of The Walt Disney Company that extends the Disney brand to merchandise ranging from apparel, toys, home decor and books to interactive games, food and beverages, stationery, electronics and animation art.
Disney Interactive Studios is the interactive entertainment affiliate of the Walt Disney Company. Disney Interactive Studios develops, publishes, markets and distributes a broad portfolio of video games on multiple platforms for audiences of all ages.
Our family of studios includes Propaganda Games in Vancouver, British Columbia, which developed Turok, based on the highly popular franchise; Fall Line Studio in Salt Lake City, which develops titles for Nintendo DS and Wii; Avalanche Software, also in Salt Lake City, focused on creating innovative games based on original intellectual property and Disney animated feature films; and our Brighton, UK studio, Black Rock Studio, known for developing award-winning titles and best selling racing games. Recently, we acquired Junction Point Studios in Austin, Texas headed by industry visionary Warren Spector.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with QA, CS, Tech Support and to get catalog PC gold masters ready for delivery to 3rd party publishers. OEM projects – working with QA, CS, Tech Support and to get catalog PC gold masters ready for internal groups such as BVHE.
  • Routing Marketing Materials (various projects) – receive packaging, manuals, and other marketing materials and route internally to appropriate people. Compile feedback to send to publisher
  • VO Recordings (various projects) – Attend voice over recording sessions and note changes to script, takes, and alternates
  • Misc. (various projects) – review and provide feedback on design documents, feedback on play testing, burn GBA and DS builds onto a cart for review, sit in on conference calls and take notes. Updating hardware for 360, Wii and other consoles with the latest software
  • Track all deliverable submissions and route to appropriate people
    EDUCATION:
    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent / Must have graduated within the past year.
    REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Exhibit good interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines
  • Possess organizational and problem solving skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Familiar with Excel (powerpoint and photoshop knowledge is a plus)
  • Friendly and outgoing
