Disney Interactive Studios (DIS) is the interactive entertainment arm of The Walt Disney Company. DIS publishes a broad portfolio of creative, innovative and dynamic video games on multiple platforms for audiences of all ages. DIS games are based on the wide range of intellectual properties of The Walt Disney Company and its subsidiaries, including feature film, television and publishing.
Our family of studios includes Propaganda Games in Vancouver, British Columbia, currently developing Turok, based on the highly popular franchise; Fall Line Studio in Salt Lake City, which develops titles for Nintendo DS and Wii; Avalanche Software, also in Salt Lake City, focused on creating innovative games based on original intellectual property and Disney animated feature films; and our Brighton, UK studio, Black Rock Studio, known for developing award-winning titles and best selling racing games Recently, we acquired Junction Point Studios in Austin, Texas headed by industry visionary Warren Spector.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Interface with various Disney departments and external organizations.
Work well with employees, customers and business associates at all levels.
Help manage special projects, serving as a liaison between VP and team, coordinating team building events, large scale summits and other projects as needed.
Assist in the creation of presentation materials and communications.
Maintain high standard of confidentiality with respect to all matters and documents.
Provide administrative/secretarial support: Answer, screen and handle telephone calls. Schedule appointments and meetings. Open and distribute mail, file, fax, photo copy, order supplies and general office duties.
Compose and word process memos, reports, correspondence, purchase orders, and authorizations.
Prepare, file and track expense reports.
Make travel arrangements and itineraries, including global travel itineraries.
Serve as primary resource of information for global organization.
Assist on various projects as needed.
Ability to support several Directors when needed to handle extra phone lines with ease, in addition to primary responsibilities.
Resourceful and knowledgeable of Disney procedures and personnel a plus.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 5 years general administrative experience supporting senior level executives in a corporate environment.
Highly Proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Word. Advanced Excel, PowerPoint skills a must. Will be tested prior to interview.
Type Minimum 50 WPM.
Computer literate and ability to learn new programs if necessary.
Ability to effectively interface with high level Company executives and clients.
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
Ability to work with others as a team.
Ability to prioritize effectively.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work flexible hours on occasion.
Familiarity with SAP desired
