Job Description:
Disney Shopping is actively recruiting for a Vice President, E-Commerce Marketing to drive online sales growth through advanced online customer acquisition, retention, and relationship development. This role is critical to enable the projected growth of Disney Shopping as we reposition our business to become a premium and personalized online shopping experience.
This position will report to the SVP of Global E-Commerce for the Walt Disney Company and will lead the development of a new marketing plan for the business. The VP, E-Commerce Marketing will champion all Disney Shopping marketing efforts including email, natural and paid search, affiliate programs, co-branded partnerships, and social marketing. In addition, this role will focus on expanding brand awareness through new tactics that could include other media, publicity, licensing, and strategic alliances. Must have experience from a national specialty retailer with a “Best in Class” eCommerce reputation.
Duties:

Establish a new actionable and measurable marketing strategy to support Disney Shopping’s shift towards a more premium and personalized shopping experience.
Develop a multi-million dollar operating budget for Disney Shopping marketing efforts consistent with priorities for long-term and short-term financial objectives.
Lead the Disney Shopping Marketing team in executing against the marketing strategy and drive qualified traffic to disneyshopping.com, with accountability for key performance metrics and return on marketing spend.
Manage data feed programs supporting 3rd party affiliate search engines and shopping sites with regular product, inventory, and pricing updates.
Develop and implement innovative social marketing strategies to drive Disney Shopping awareness and intent to purchase.
Collaborate with Disney Shopping senior leadership team to develop integrated business development initiatives.
Develop CRM programs that deepen new and existing customer relationships with the Disney Shopping brand, maximize ease of consumer use, stem attrition and increase orders, average order size and conversions.
Partner with other business units within The Walt Disney Company to capture Disney fans that do not currently purchase from Disney Shopping.
Develop and mentor the marketing team to ensure the appropriate talent is in place and ensure that the team is positioned to succeed and grow.
Qualifications for Position:
Bachelors degree required. MBA highly preferred.
Minimum of 8-10 years of leadership experience in online marketing. Leadership experience in e-commerce marketing preferred.
Experience in developing and executing marketing plans in retail environment preferred.
Experience working cross-functionally and managing a team.
Skills Required:
