Our client is recognized for its innovative software solutions for operational air traffic management (ATM) and air traffic control (ATC) simulation and training. Our success in the simulation market has created opportunities for an experienced professional to join us in the following role:
C++ Software Developer

Contract 6 to 9 months
Responsibilities:
-
Provide software design, development and support for Simulation Environment.
-
Design, coding and testing of various software solutions.
Requirements:
-
Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development (Windows and Linux);
-
Bachelors degree in software engineering or computer science;
-
Strong working knowledge of advanced C++ programming (Sutter / Meyers);
-
Strong working knowledge of Object-Oriented programming / Design Patterns;
-
Strong working knowledge of Boost, Python, and Qt;
-
Strong communication skills;
-
US Citizen with valid passport;
-
Must be able to obtain a secret security clearance;
-
Occasional domestic and international travel;
Additionally, the following skills/experiences are preferred:
-
Simulation experience;
-
Knowledge of aeronautic domain;
-
Knowledge of the UML and XML languages;
-
Knowledge of component-based software development;
-
Knowledge of ClearCase/ClearQuest/CVS/SVN;
-
Knowledge of RequisitePro.
Additional qualifications:
-
Ability to work within a small team;
-
Ability to deliver high-quality software.
