What a PETCO Team Lead Does:
? Assists the General Manager of a PETCO store with reaching sales goals and staying within budgeted payroll hours
? Makes sure the store is opened/closed daily according to established procedures.
? Helps train and develop store personnel
? Directs and assists with the ordering, loading, pricing, SKUing and stocking of merchandise according to operational procedures
? Assists in merchandising store as instructed
? Interacts with customers and help them find the right animal supplies for their specific needs
? Uses own judgment at times when needed to complete assigned tasks

As a PETCO Team Lead, you should possess the following:
? A genuine interest in the well-being of animals
? A high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
? The ability to demonstrate advanced math skills
? The ability to interact professionally with both coworkers and customers in both written and verbal communication forms
? Previous retail experience is a plus
? The physical ability to move merchandise up to 50lbs
? The ability to prioritize and complete tasks with little or no direction, and meet established deadlines
