Principal Mechanical Estimator

Project:
Parsons is managing an Independent Verification and Validation IV&V program for an agency within the Department of Defense to review third party A/E work, conduct self-performed studies and analysis, testing and measuring, and perform specialized engineering services, planning and design reviews, commissioning services and construction oversight on worldwide delivery orders.

Need
Parsons is seeking a Principal Mechanical Estimator for Annapolis Junction, MD. Successful candidate will complete a wide variety of difficult and complex estimating activities for IV&V, with focus on the mechanical discipline including industrial HVAC, fire protection, and plumbing.

Requirements
? 10 – 12 + years of related work experience including capital cost estimating experience
? Proficiency performing difficult and complex estimating activities typical to the engineering and construction industry is required.
? Familiarity with the use of estimating software, MII or Success Estimator preferred.
? Ability to work with engineering drawings and specifications specific to the mechanical discipline.
? Certification by the Society of Cost Estimating and Analysis (SCEA) or equivalent is required.
? 4-year Degree in Engineering or Construction Management (or related field)
? Proof of US citizenship or permanent residency is required
