SHAREPOINT DEVELOPER

Parsons is looking for a SharePoint Developer to join our team in Aiken S.C.

Job Responsibilities:
Customize out of the box SharePoint sites to suit business need.Participate in the architectural design, development, customization, and integration efforts of enterprise solutions involving Collaboration, Portals, Enterprise Search, Enterprise Content Management, Business Process and Forms. Develop, deploy, and support custom built and third party applications for Microsoft Office SharePoint (MOSS) 2007 environment.Handle tickets escalated through helpdesk, monitor and improve server performance, carry out server farm maintenances, such as patching and upgrade,


Standard Tasks:
· Portal site customization, including setting up securities, designing site structure and content types
· Web part and user control development
· Evaluate third party tools that complement MOSS 2007
· Form development, including integration with back end databases
· Workflow development, using Ascentn AgilePoint and SharePoint designer
· Participate in architectural planning
· Search maintenance and tuning
· Participate on call rotation and ticket handling
· Perform backup and recovery


Required Skills:
· 3 to 5 years experience in .Net programming
· Proficiency in ASP.Net, XML, HTML, and CSS
· 2+ years of experience in SharePoint development, including web parts, user controls, event handlers, and etc.
· Experience in developing web services
· Experience in SharePoint designer for both workflow and customization
· Be available to participate 24 by 7 on call rotation
· Experience handling concurrent or multiple tasks/projects efficiently


Desired Skills:
· Microsoft certifications in .Net development
· Microsoft certifications in SharePoint
· Experience in MOSS 2007 search programming and customization
· Flash programming
· Experience in Ascentn AgilePoint
· Knowledge of content management, document management, and enterprise social networking
