Home Station Training Improved Explosive Devise - Defeat (HST IED - D) Lane Military Training Specialist

Parsons anticipates being selected by the National Guard Bureau to operate and maintain the Home Station Training Improvised Explosive Device - Defeat (HST IED-D) Lane Red Teams.
This position will be filled if Parsons is successful in winning the NGB HST IED-D Lane Red Team Contract. Contingent offers may be made prior to Award which is anticipated in June 2009. Mobilization is expected as early as 01 June 2009.

Position Description: Employee will interface with mission commander and home station training lane IEDD-Observer Controller / Trainers regarding training of the units, development and execution of scripts during rotations, pre-rotational briefings, and after-action meetings and reports. Employee will provide in-depth assessments, oral and written, of unit performance and present feedback to the unit using the After Action Review process at the completion of the exercise. Employee will provide direction, advice, counsel, and assistance to any OPFOR or COB personnel that augment the live training experience.The employee will prepare, update and teach the use of Improvised Explosive Devices-Defeat (IED-D) training aids, devices and simulators. The employee will attend necessary meetings and conferences to maintain awareness of current theater issues, IEDD capabilities, and new IEDD devices and training aids

Experience:
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
More than 6 years prior military experience with demonstrated leadership in training and assessing
Experience in employing Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations (TADSS) in live training
Proof of US citizenship or US permanent residency
Security Clearance: SECRET
Preferred:
Deployment in support of Operations ENDURING FREEDOM or IRAQI FEEDOM
Knowledgeable in all range operations, capabilities, and procedures
Practical working knowledge of IED Defeat and Counter IED organization and doctrine
A working knowledge of counterinsurgency operations and doctrine
