Environmental Planner or Engineer

Project
Parsons is conducting environmental planning, compliance, and assessments for various Department of Defense agencies. These projects are related to construction activities at military sites around the globe. As part of our team, you will be actively contributing to a healthier and safer world for future generations.

Need
Parsons is seeking an Environmental Planner and/or Environmental Engineer to support our global efforts on environmental planning, compliance and assessments related to military construction. The successful candidate will have experience in gathering and analyzing field data, performing calculations associated with environmental and construction planning (specifically 1391s), and preparing environmental reports. These reports must adhere to applicable codes, regulations, and procedures as well as take into account construction planning efforts.

In addition, experience with Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) for existing and proposed buildings, and ISO 14001 based environmental management system is desirable. Secondary knowledge of NEPA; construction cost estimating; utility, site, infrastructure, Defense Agency or Federal property planning and investment strategies; environmental or construction programming documents and design guidelines; or GeoBase (GIS) would be a plus. This position will require domestic and international travel.

Requirements
? 1+ years of environmental planning and/or engineering experience
? Knowledge of military construction and Federal environmental regulations such as NEPA
? Proficiency in calculations related to construction and environmental cost development
? BS in environmental planning, engineering or related degree with MS preferred
? Familiarity with LEED and ISO 14001 a plus
? Proof of U.S. citizenship
