This innovative vacation-ownership product lets families call cherished Disney Resorts ''home,'' all while enjoying decades of future vacations at Disney destinations and beyond. With three new resort properties opening this year, interest among new buyers will be higher than ever before. And in 2011, we'll say ''aloha'' to the first Disney family destination resort in Hawaii. We are currently seeking a Sales Guide to join us in our Chicago location.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide daily face-to-face and telephone sales presentations to Guests and DVC Members in a consistent and organized manner, utilizing the Disney counselor sales approach/training produced by the Disney Vacation Club Sales Management team. Participate in Group Sales presentations, lead sourcing and lead generation as required. Demonstrate sales skills and business savvy to move prospects and members toward a buying decision for vacation ownership while making provisions for follow-up in order to obtain the sale by mail when necessary. Present DVC product to employees of corporations and affiliates in the Chicago market by attending trade shows, hosting receptions and seminars, attending corporate wellness and benefit fairs. Conduct effective and thorough follow-up and customer service to ensure full leverage of each opportunity. Deliver the Disney Vacation Club message concisely and consistently and demonstrate in-depth product knowledge on both Disney Vacation Club and Walt Disney World.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: (These are the minimum qualifications you need to be considered for the job.)
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent – preferably in marketing, communication or business
* Minimum 3 years direct professional sales experience
* Proven success working in a competitive sales environment
* Ability to maintain a continuous positive and professional attitude
* Ability to be comfortable and flexible working in a predominantly single location structured environment, telephone sales, and often unique sales/marketing channels with limited field sales work as required to meet overall business objectives
* Ability to meet and exceed minimum performance standards set by the DVC Sales Management team
* Ability to display a high level of organizational skills with ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities
* Ability to identify and achieve short and long term goals
* Ability to maintain long-term relationships with members, guests and prospects
* Ability to be flexible with work schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and willing to participate in some travel.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Multilingual abilities in Spanish/Portuguese
* Member of Disney Vacation Club (or familiarity with the product) a plus
* Experience of staying at a Disney resort
* Multiple personal travel experiences both domestic and international
