SUMMARY
Art Director, 8+ years experience, the principle responsibilities include staff development as well as, applying creative solutions to design challenges for both print and interactive projects.

Seen as a thought leader and generally involved in the design and concept stages of a project, able to hand work off to designers or production staff, directing them through completion.

In touch with the client and responsible for nurturing the client relationship.

Ability to work with clients, generate concepts, direct others, as well as the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, quickly and accurately.

Build and edit marketing materials such as Ads, Direct Mail, Tradeshow Graphics and Brochures using Adobe Creative Suite 4 as well as, interactive documents utilizing Adobe Fireworks and Photoshop.

Responsible for providing education and professional knowledge to the creative staff.

Staff development through coaching and mentoring is critical to the position, teaching others to understand the client's needs and to serve client's in a professional manner and become a trusted advisor.

SKILL SETS REQUIRED
Must have the discipline to maintain, protect, and develop the corporate brand.

Ability to oversee a large variety of projects to completion, contributing to each as necessary.

Must be able to provide constructive feedback to staff, colleagues, and clients.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must have 8+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree

Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, for web and print, and Adobe Fireworks and Photoshop

Microsoft Office Suite of Applications
