SUMMARY
We currently are seeking a Microsoft Developer in either our Oak Brook, Illinois or South Bend, Indiana offices, who will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing and maintaining system applications and interfaces.

The individual would be expected to work independently and function as a team member in our Information Services group.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops applications using a combination of ASP.NET, C# with SQL Server databases and CaseWare/CaseView -- a third party proprietary application used in the accounting industry to manage and document audit engagements.

Support the firm's use of CaseWare/CaseView by maintaining knowledge of established service level agreements and deliver support in a manner that meets those expectations.

Participate in the implementation of processes designed to reduce the number of support issues and improve client satisfaction.

Handle technically complex problems and advise management.

Work with minimal oversight on enterprise projects and enhance current applications.

Technically designs solutions that are efficient, effective, and follows IS and/or industry standards.

Performs Full Systems Life Cycle, (plan, design, develop, test, implement, and maintain).

Develops estimates and completes assignments on time and within budget.

Conducts research, advises on new technology, and evaluates alternative solutions.

Works with internal clients and IS development team; minimal travel.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in MIS or related field with at least 2 years experience

Experience in Microsoft .Net technologies such as ASP.Net required

Knowledge of classical ASP, COM+, and Jscript required

Microsoft SQL Server 2000+, experience with Stored Procedures required

Accounting industry experience preferred

Microsoft SharePoint experience a plus

Microsoft related certifications a plus

Strong analytical and application design skills

Ability to effectively work in teams as well as independently

Strong communication skills required
