Position Summary:
A highly visible position requiring the ability to interact with executives and staff at all levels. Ability to balance the Business Unit's (BU) needs with the needs of the professional staff is critical to this position. This position is responsible for at least 100 client service staff professionals and reports to the People Operations Lead for TAX with dotted line reporting to the HR Executive In-Charge (EIC). The person in this position is a member of the BU operations team.

Capacity Management
-Lead the scheduling effort within the geographical business.
-Ensure scheduled staff are matched with appropriate client and work type given the skill level of the individual.
-Scheduling and conflict resolution.
-Lead scheduling meetings with partner and manager groups.
-Productivity review, analysis and reporting. Includes weekly look-back reporting.
-Timesheet and expense approval and follow up on missing time.
-Management of outside contractors including contract maintenance and monitoring of reimbursement.
-Monitor expertise tracking.
-Liaison with other groups on a firm-wide and BU-wide basis when resources are needed.
-Actively seek out chargeable work outside of busy season.

Resource Development and Support
-Serve as champion for Crowe sponsored coaching, mentoring, leadership and counseling programs. Includes Talent Development, Leadership Academy, and Women into Leadership. With regards to these programs ensure timely communication of information, meetings are held as required, staff reviews and annual plans are monitored for timely completion and administrative changes such as coaching assignments are made in Talent Development. Monitor effectiveness of coaching relationships.
-Serve as Road Warrior champion for geographic location.
-Serve as office admistrator for monitoring and approving CPE. Identify appropriate internal and external courses for staff and assist in the coordination of geographic based courses as necessary.
-Work with HR and recruiting to facilitate orientation programs for new and experienced hires.
-Coordinate recruiting efforts including on-campus recruiting and experienced hire searches and assessment of hiring needs.
-HR executive delegate for budgeting, promotion, SSB and salary adjustment process.
-Staff advocate. Available to all staff for issues they do not feel comfortable addressing with an executive or their coach.
-Coordinate staff exit process including “counseling out†conversations, coordination of DU communications and transition of responsibilities.
-Active attendee and participant at executive, manager and staff meetings.

Qualifications:
-5 to 7 years practice management experience in a service industry
-Bachelors degree is required
-Public accounting experience is a plus (client service or operations)
-Proven ability to successfully manage offices/people remotely
-Ability to travel to Oak Brook at least three days a week
