Description:
The Technician performs LiveTV systems maintenance work, installation work, repair station work, and ground equipment maintenance work.


Á• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and systems modifications on all LiveTV Systems (50%)
Á• Ensure all airline log book discrepancies pertaining to all LiveTV Systems are cleared in a timely manner (30%)
Á• Document maintenance performed on a daily basis utilizing established procedures and submit a daily report to the Supervisor of Maintenance (10%)
Á• Provide Customers with support in the ability to carry out and uphold Company policies and procedures (10%)

Experience:
Á• High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma required with a minimum of two (2) years of Technical School (four (4) years of aircraft avionics experience is equal to approximately two (2) years Technical School)
Á• Valid Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Power Plant Certificates required
Á• Meets recent experience requirements in accordance with 14 CFR 65.83
Á• Federal Communication Commission (FCC) License preferred but not required
Á• Must be willing to travel domestically
Á• Must speak, read and write English fluently
Á• Regular attendance is required
Á• Must have a positive attitude
Á• Must be an appropriate organizational fit for the LiveTV culture, that is, exhibit the LiveTV values of being Compliance, Respect, Innovation, Responsibility, Teamwork
Á• Must be well groomed and maintain a professional appearance
Á• Must be legally authorized to work in the country in which the position is located
Á• Must Possess and maintain a valid Driver License and a record that meets our parent companyÁ’s (JetBlue Airways) insurance standards
Á• Must pass 10 year background check and drug test
Á• When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable Teammembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
