Basic Function

Under the direction of the President Robern, the Manager Marketing is responsible for planning and implementation of marketing strategies, programs, promotions and the financial performance of the Robern Brand product line. This would involve developing and implementing short term marketing plans and long term marketing strategies, consistent with the strategic and financial objectives. Responsible for planning and managing the company's short- and long-range marketing programs. Lead the strategy, which will result in a positive revenue stream. Also responsible for developing marketing plans and programs in support of Robern profit objectives to include sales forecasts, customer marketing programs, pricing, and Robern Strategic Business Plans. Has P&L and budget responsibility. Has one direct report.

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor degree in Business Administration or Marketing. MBA or Masters Degree is required. Min of 7 years of prior experience in product development marketing and a track record of results. At least 3 year experiences with P&L and/or budgeting is required. Previous supervisory experience required.

Must possess a keen analytical mind, be strong on planning, detail, and accuracy, and be a demonstrably creative thinker. Must possess substantial skills in written and oral communication with all levels of management and with outside contacts.
