Description:
Genesis10 is seeking a Senior J2EE Technical Team Lead for a major client in Charlotte, NC on a contract basis.


Responsibilities:
- Will play a technical lead role in the Ecommerce group.
- Work with multiple IT groups and end user groups to develop high level and detail system designs.
- Code and unit test key application components.
- Provide direction to junior developers.
- Perform code reviews.
- Be a caretaker of application code from a security and performance perspective.

Experience:
Required Experience/Skills:
- Prior experience as a Senior Technical Lead on complex and highly scalable Java J2EE Solutions.
- Prior experience as a Senior Technical Lead on a Websphere Commerce Implementation.
- Strong System Analysis and Design skills.
- Strong knowledge of web-based application development (HTML, Javascript, AJAX, XML).
- Strong JEE servlet/JSP development experience.
- Strong knowledge of accessing relational databases using JDBC.
- Good working knowledge of databases (DB2, Sybase).
- Strong Unix experience.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written). Comfortable communicating with business users.
- Familiar with the core design patterns and best practices.

Preferred Experience/Skills:
- Order management system integration experience.
