Description:
UNIX Admin 75% and Windows Admin 25%

Day-to-day administration of systems, installation of new systems, troubleshooting, and problem resolution for an office of 50 employees and several server systems. Responsible for regular systems maintenance, patching, and performance tuning. This individual ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational requirements.



Requirements:



High School Diploma and some college

Troubleshoot both hardware and software issues independently

Microsoft server (Windows 2003 and Exchange)

Unix (Solaris 10, RHEL 3,4,5)

Shell Scripting (Perl, Python, and Bash)

Networking and TCP/IP

Security

Backup systems (Netbackup)

Storage (RAID, ZFS, SAN)

Antivirus server

VMware

On-call rotation and support including some night and weekend work (less than 10%)
