Dell Perot Systems is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a Software/Application Developer to join our team in Lexington, KY.
Job Responsibilities:
Individual will be responsible for the development of Web based applications using Object Oriented design techniques within the framework of Agile Development Practices. Participation in all aspects of the software design process within a team structure is a must. The entire software life cycle must be supported including analyzing, designing, documenting, testing, building, implementing and supporting business applications that provide solutions to support our customer's business processes.
Utilize complete Software Development Life Cycle from gathering requirements to testing application for release into production environment.
Provide application support/troubleshooting in production environment.
Required Skills:
1 plus years of software/application development experience.
Demonstrate knowledge of Software Development Cycle.
Desire to learn and use evolving technologies.
The ability to work well with team members by providing input and compromising where appropriate.
Ability to use J2EE (WebLogic), Java, JSP, Struts, SOAP, XML, Oracle, and/or Linux.
Desired Skills:
Experience with Agile Development Methodologies and/or Object Oriented Design and Development.
Minimum Educational Requirements:
Bachelors in Computer Science or related field.
