Aulani will be located on the western side of O‘ahu at the Ko Olina Resort & Marina development on 21 acres of oceanfront property.Scheduled to open in 2011, Aulani will overlook a breath-taking crystal blue lagoon and vast white sandy beaches.The resort will include 350 hotel rooms and 480 Disney Vacation Club timeshare villas as well as an 18,000-square-foot spa, a children’s club, romantic wedding lawn and an elaborate pool with a thrilling water play area.

Pastry Sous Chef
Disney Parks & Resorts has an immediate opportunity for Pastry Sous Chef located in Oahu, HI. The Pastry Sous Chef manages all financial aspects of the business, including labor costs, cost of sales, and other expenses while providing leadership, development and motivation to direct reports. While creating a positive work environment that encourages ownership and accountability, the Pastry Sous Chef will work to develop recipes for specialty breads and pastries. The Pastry Sous Chef will ensure high quality products are being produced in the quantity required to meet the demands of the multiple venues while coordinating production schedules, monitoring the efficiency of the operation and ensuring sanitation is maintained up to and above standard guidelines.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: (These are the minimum qualifications you need to be considered for the job.)
High School degree or equivalent
Minimum 3 years experience in Culinary Arts, including baking
Minimum 2 years culinary management experience
Demonstrated Guest Satisfaction and Cast Excellence knowledge
Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated strong leadership skills
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Proven Food Safety Certification
Proven knowledge of industry trends
