In this position you will support the monthly closing process, the preparation of journal entries and the preparation of various financial statements, schedules, reports and analyses. You will also participate in special projects on an as-needed basis.

These responsibilities will require the successful candidate to interact with internal contacts across the corporation, across divisions and within his/her department to gather and/or provide financial data. He/She will also be expected to review financial transactions to ensure Wyeth’s compliance with GAAP and the relevant regulatory pronouncements.

Your specific responsibilities will include the following:
· Preparation of financial information for internal business partners.
· Management of the monthly closing process to ensure all financial statements are completed in a timely fashion. Includes ongoing communication between the Madison, NJ and Great Valley, PA Accounting Departments.
· Compilation and review of the Wyeth Corporate financial statement package.
· Preparation of Equity Investment reports on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Includes communication with Treasury Department and requires an understanding of FAS 159.
· Maintenance of deferred tax schedules and record entry. Record federal tax entry for Wyeth Corporate. Assist in preparation and review of tax questionnaires, form TD-31’s and annual tax shelter disclosure request. Requires interaction with Wyeth’s Tax Department regarding deferred, federal and state taxes.
· Quarterly FINSTAT review and annual input of tax section.
· Creation and oversight over bank reconciliation completion.
· Preparation of rollforward schedules.
· AHT Tracking and Reporting.
· Provide backup support for Long Term Incentive and Product Liability accounting.
· Assisting in the preparation and analysis of Benefit financial statements and interpretation of technical statements/pronouncements.
· Update Sarbanes-Oxley process flows on an as-needed basis.

Successful candidates will possess:
· BS in Accounting or Finance
· CPA and/or MBA desired
· 5+ years of Accounting or Finance experience (Public Accounting a plus)
· Strong understanding of accounting processes
· Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
· Working knowledge of Hyperion, SAP, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
