RESPONSIBILITIES:
Disney Consumer Products works in concert with the world's most trusted brands for the development of magical Disney-branded products, including gifts, collectibles, home furnishings, personal care, food products and stationery.

This position will assist in driving planned wholesale sales and operating income for products generated by the Home Furnishings/Collectibles categories.

- Assist in managing a Home Furnishings/Collectible product category(s) and licensing relationships to meet or exceed predetermined revenue targets and growth objectives.
- Assist and contribute to the strategic planning process for the US Home Furnishing/Collectible business.
- Assist in developing strategies and business plans by retailer, product, property/franchise and consumer segment.
- Assist in presenting product lines and creative to retail accounts
- Analyzes account (licensee and retailer) business performance and help develop growth objectives that are aligned with Disney Consumer Products initiatives.
- Fiscal responsibility for assigned categories to include annual budget planning and quarterly revenue forecasting. To include the following licensees: Photofile, Precious Moments, MBI, Jerry Leigh, Noble Collection, and Westland Gifts.
- Assist in managing licensees for assigned category which includes contract negotiation, resolving issues, reviewing/approving of product submissions and promotion/advertising initiatives.
- Help develop product and manage product development process to bring to market new and innovative home products
- Route product approvals through product management, design and character artist to ensure product is on strategy with Disney Home Furnishing/Collectible strategy
- Update and maintain product sell-in sheets
- Train licensees on artwork catalog and how to navigate intranet sites
- Track and coordinate distribution of style guides to licensees based on distribution and age demographic and timely development of line plans to coordinate with product objectives


EDUCATION:
Degree in business/art/fashion related field.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Understanding of brand, characters, and property positioning, Product development experience in 3D product preferred and sense of fashion/trend, excellent communication & presentation skills.

Minimum Five (5) years experience with Two (2) years of Category Management/ Buying or product development experience. Good understanding of retail business development function, retail distribution and the retail environment. Strong leadership skills.
