Description:
The Coordinator provides surveillance, control, and direction for all LiveTV (LTV) related aircraft maintenance. The Coordinator provides the technical evaluation and recommendations for the resolution of LiveTV system discrepancies. In addition, the Coordinator provides the oversight and coordination for expediting repairs to minimize impact to the operational fleet.
Á• Monitors the mechanical status of in-service aircraft and tracks the timely completion of each aircraftÁ’s LTV discrepancies (15%)
Á• Provides technical information support to Maintenance Technicians and Pilots (15%)
Á• Maintains surveillance of overall aircraft system performance, and advises line maintenance on major mechanical problems and arranges for the necessary resources to minimize downtime of aircraft (15%)
Á• Ensures that all parts and other support materials is at the proper location to accomplish required checks (8%)
Á• Develops action plans for all chronic LTV items and follows up to ensure corrective actions are effective (8%)
Á• Keeps LTV Planning team and Customer Maintenance Control teams advised of the expected time for the return to service for an airplane on maintenance delay (8%)
Á• Acts as the central point of contact for all LTV related issues (8%)
Á• Supervises all unscheduled maintenance functions (5%)
Á• Coordinates with Customer Planning team to schedule tail numbers to be at the proper location to accomplish required checks and maintenance (5%)
Á• Coordinates with LTV Engineering, Customer Engineering and Line Maintenance for all LTV related technical issues (8%)
Á• Keeps LiveTV Planning team appraised of new Minimum Equipment List (MEL), Configuration Deviation List (CDL) and Deferred Maintenance Item (DMI) (5%)
Experience:
Á• High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma; Two (2) years of technical school specific to aviation preferred but not required
Á• Valid Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant Certificate preferred but not required
Á• Three (3) years experience in heavy transport aircraft preferred but not required
Á• One (1) year of experience on Live TV System or a minimum of three (3) years Aircraft Electrical and Electronic Installation/Troubleshooting experience.
Á• Previous leadership experience preferred but not required
Á• Regular attendance and punctuality

Á• Well groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance
Á• Pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
Á• Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
Á• When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable Teammembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
