Sales Manager – Sales & Travel Operations

Responsible for group convention business development within the small meetings market (10-50 rooms on peak night for the three Disneyland Resort Hotels, two theme parks and the Downtown Disney dining and entertainment complex. Focus on capturing roomnight, food and beverage, park admissions and Disney Institute related revenue for the resort.
Ensure food and beverage minimums are met in addition to ancillary revenues i.e. tickets, AV and room rental
Proactive sales solicitation including phone and direct mail
Negotiate room rates, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts and conduct site inspections
Handling inquiries directed at meetings requiring 10-50 rooms on peak.
Requirements:
1-3 years experience Hotel Sales and Service and /or related industry
Experience in presenting, prospecting and negotiating
Ability to prioritize day-to-day workload and focus on most productive sales activities
Customer relation skills
Strong Analytical and computer skills
