Position Summary:
This Federal Tax Senior position in Crowe's Compliance Practice offers the opportunity to team with a seasoned professionals, network extensively with existing and prospective clients, and assume a high degree of exposure and responsibility within the firm. This compliance senior staff will provide services to clients including: consulting, tax planning, compliance and research. In this role you will perform in charge activities on engagements and manage numerous projects semi-independently. The position will include developing relationships with clients, prospects, and referral sources, and performing detailed tasks on engagements while delegating and supervising others.
Responsibilities:
-Acting as an "in-charge" on engagements
-Managing numerous projects semi-independently
-Staying abreast of tax developments to effectively apply your knowledge to client situations
-Assisting in advising clients on full spectrum of tax services including: planning, research, and compliance
-Providing advice that enables client to increase shareholder value and develop client relationships
-Working with state-of-the-art equipment
Position Requirements/Qualifications:
Successful candidates will be highly motivated and possess:
-BS in Accounting
-CPA required (will consider eligibility and desire to sit for exam)
-MST highly desired
-2-4 years of tax experience in public accounting
-Knowledge in all facets of: corporate, individual & partnership taxation
-Possess effective research skills
-Ability to manage simultaneous projects independently and perform detailed tasks on engagements
-Willingness to travel
