BASIC FUNCTION
Under the general supervision, provides assistance to the management of a Regional Office assisting a Field Sales Operation. Activities include special projects and assignments, maintenance of open and effective communication with home office, branches and key customers, co-ordination of Regional Office issues related to the field administration, policies, procedures, implementation of Field Sales and Regional Sales Objectives. Gathers a variety of relevant information from the Region and prepares summaries for use by the Regional Director.

Works off of a plan to achieve levels of contribution relating to project leadership, process knowledge, or functional expertise.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct studies related to special projects and assignments. Analyze the information, develop alternate approaches or solutions to issues raised by the Regional Director.
Analyze sales, profit and expense data. Analyzes variances, recommends corrective action and generally keeps Regional Director informed as to Performance of the Region.
Coordinates the development of the Regional sales forecasts and budgets. Co-ordinates with Home Office to establish proper budgets for the Region.
Participates in the analysis of branch and zone territorial alignment and recommends territorial alignment.
Monitors field claims activities of the branches. Co-ordinates with Quality Assurance and Claims Processing to assure proper co-ordination between the Region and Home Office.
Works with Marketing, Customer Service and Home Office Sales Operations to develop and collect information from the field as well as required sources needed for Sales Forecasts, Market Research Projects and general market information. Analyzes data from the Region and recommends strategies.
Operates as central clearing point for information for Branches/Divisions in the Region.
Assists the Manager/Director prepare for Regional, and National meetings, distributor meetings and other industry functions. May attend and present at these functions.
Other duties as required.



EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors Degree required - preferably in Marketing, Business Administration or Accounting. 2-3 years of sales analyst experience preferred. Must be analytical, a good communicator, results oriented and have good organizational skills. Must be able to work independently. Must have good computer skills.
