Description:
Provides direct care to patients. This includes assessing each patient assigned to the nurse, determining priorities for the patient's care with the use of critical thinking skills, supervising other staff in providing care to the patients, administering medications and other treatments as ordered by the physician, providing nursing interventions as appropriate to the patients' physical and emotional needs, beliefs, cultural needs, medical and nursing diagnosis, evaluating the patients' responses to those interventions and adjusting care priorities as needed. This job requires employees to demonstrate initial and annual competencies in order to remain in the position. Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience:
Requirements: Current RN License in MD or DE; ACLS ertification, experience in Critical Care. Experience in telemetry reading preferred.
