Job Purpose:
Develops global messaging and executes the US strategic and tactical plans/initiatives for Imaging products. Position requires someone who is comfortable being the product expert and acting as product champion when interfacing with cross-functional team members and the selling channel.  Specific positional responsibilities include:  global product launches, product positioning, developing and implementing tactical marketing/sales plans, US revenue and product level forecasting, product development, influencing product pipeline decisions (product selection and financial modeling), primary US sales/cross-functional contact and for the development of product level KOL relationships. 
Key Responsibilities:
This product manager will be a champion for the Imaging business, our customers and will drive/influence both downstream and upstream activities.  
·          This position will require ~30% travel and strong collaboration with the OUS marketing organization. (US travel primary ? International secondary)
·          Drive marketing activities for Imaging products. 
·          Partner with sales training and Medical Education functions for physician and sales rep training strategy and execution worldwide.
·          Drive the creation of the Marketing Business Plan, utilizing cross-functional team members, to include market analysis, strategies, tactics and measurement.
·          Collaborate with Key Opinion Leaders (KOL?s) to ensure that the devices are represented at major and regional scientific meetings. These relationships will also drive ?Voice of Customer (VOC)? in the TDP/PDP process.
·          Track business performance against objectives and forecasts, formulating new approaches and strategies as needed. (AMB Metrics)
·          Provide ?Voice of Customer (VOC)? input/support to upstream team during early stages of Technology Development Process (TDP) / Product Development Process (PDP) to insure market specifications are incorporated in every phase of the project.
·          Identify best practices to address key business challenges and opportunities.
·          Use classic marketing capabilities: market understanding, market segmentation, product positioning, message development, channel identification, tool and communication creation and execution to further business objectives.
·          Collaborate/influence BSC marketing team members in primary international markets (EMEA, China, Japan)
·          Collaborate with functional partners to execute with speed and quality.
·          Serve as a clinical and functional advisor on technical product and general business issues to the selling channel and cross-functional team members.

Experience Required

Qualifications: · 3 + years successful related business experience (medical device marketing experience ? downstream commercialization is preferred) · Undergraduate degree required, MBA preferred but not necessary · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills · Demonstrated success supporting and/or managing complex projects · Ability to collaborate and work with others in a dynamic, matrix environment · Position requires ~30% travel (some international included)
