Job Description

Key player within the durable medical equipment sector is actively interviewing for 2 Process Engineers due to massive expansion. Keys to hire for this role: Rotary die cutting, flexographic printing, designing tools, fixtures, & Jigs. Ideal candidate should be a Mechanical/Design engineer with materials knowledge & experience in manufacturing environment. The Engineer selected will interact with management, engineering and operations regarding manufacturing capabilities and production processes to improve accuracy of the production schedule and product requirements. In addition candidate selected will identify and implement improvements for both press and finishing processes of existing production parts to achieve maximum process efficiency with minimum waste. In addition to the above task the engineer will be responsible for high waste reporting, and the development of corrective actions for root causes of high waste. This position will perform process capability studies utilizing statistical analysis techniques. The process engineer will also be responsible for executing cost estimates of new and existing parts, generating the initial press drawing and the process quote spreadsheet. The right candidate will also prepare the paperwork for new parts including routing, BOM, tooling and print plate order, DIR and press drawing. Great opportunity with competitive benefits package.
