Job Description

Adecco Professional Staffing is partnering with an exciting and dynamic firm in the Markham, Ontario area. We are working with them to discover top talent for their Credit and Accounts Receivable Specialist job opening at this time. Some of the duties and responsibilities for this Credit and Accounts Receivable Specialist job opening in Markham, ON include (but are not limited to);

*Process credit applications and determine credit or risk - this includes making recommendations for credit limits, analyzing data and financial statements etc.

*Review accounts for past due payments, credit limit levels and if exceeded etc and determine next steps to resolve and move forward

*Manages Accounts Receivable in its entirety, maintains DSO and keep within company targets

*Provide exceptional client and account relations while keeping focused on the required tasks - this include internal communication with various departments

*Account reconciliations

*Reporting in various mediums

*Additional tasks as they come up to ensure the smooth running of the team and its direction

Experience Required

In order to qualify for the Credit and Accounts Receivable Specialist job opening in Markham, ON, you must possess the following;

*2-3 years + experience in a Credit Specialist / Analyst or related position along with some Accounts Receivable experience

*Completed post secondary education with a preferred focus in the Accounting/Finance field

*Strong technical skills with MS Office and SAP experience preferred

*Excellent communication skills, written and spoken along with a high level of interpersonal skills

*Knowledge of the Canadian Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act

*Team player to collaborate and work with others to be a successful team

*Strong analytical skills combined with sound decision making ability

*Highest level of attention to detail, organizational skills and time management strengths.
