GENERAL FUNCTION: Manage Bankcard projects for credit, debit, and prepaid products to ensure analytics needs are captured in scope of projects and fulfilled. Manage day to day functions with vendor to maintain marketing database. Provideguidanceonintegrating new data sources, creating efficiencies and improving data integrity of the database. Design, execute, and enhance reporting as needed to support Bankcard management team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Lead
.Lead role for Marketing Analytics team for all Bankcard projects.
.Responsible for representing the needs of the team on all projects affecting Bankcard systems or data. Ensure marketing analytics needs are included in project scope.
.Manage data capture needs for the data warehouse with Bancorp IT and vendor to ensure successful outcomes for each project.
Database Management
.Manage vendor resources to prioritize data warehouse initiatives.
.Acts as the primary business contact with Bancorp IT and vendor for the Bankcard marketing data warehouse. Responsible for problem solving and system enhancements.
.Collaborates with marketing analyst to establish guidelines and best practices for the effective use of the marketing database and tools.
.Lead role for critical data management. Responsible for ensuring analysts are adequately trained and kept current with updates and changes to the system.
.Coordinates weekly updates of the marketing data warehouse with the vendor and Bancorp IT to ensure accurate data is available in a timely manner.
.Proactively identify enhancements to the data environment that will drive increased efficiency and effectiveness of the marketing programs and reporting. Responsible for change management related to software and database improvements.
.Design and execute regular data integrity checks to ensure data is accurate and support RCSA testing.
Reporting
.Manage reports and data extracts to provide key marketing, customer, and management reporting information to various Bankcard departments.
.Collaborate with business partners to design and execute reporting as needed to support business initiatives.
.Enhance current set of reports as data or business needs change.
.Manage vendor resources to prioritize and deliver new reports or existing report enhancements

Experience Required

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
.Bachelor's degree in information technology/systems, computer science, database administration, or related field. MBA preferred.
.Typically requires minimum of 7-10 years work experience. 5-7 years of business intelligence/data analysis related experience in industry. Five plus years of banking experience.
.Significant experience with OLAP tools and data analysis tools like SQL, SAS, Business Objects, etc..., and knowledge of database architecture.
.Project management experience preferred.
.Knowledge of Bankcard data systems a plus.
.Prior financial/banking experience is highly desirable.
.Strong PC skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
.Proficient with MS-Windows and other related PC applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
.Excellent analytical, and written and oral communication skills. Excellent presentation skills.
.Ability to work in a team environment with the ability to interact well, and in a positive manner, with senior management.
.Ability to maintain professional composure in a dynamic work environment that often requires management/completion of multiple tasks.
.Demonstrate sound judgment as well as apply logical/critical thought processes.
