Job Description

The Apprentice Millwright job in Northern Alberta is a short-term contract position with our client. The successful candidate will have a valid apprenticeship certificate and a minimum of 2 years of industrial experience working on major oil and gas projects in Northern Alberta. Camp accommodations are provided.

Responsibilities of the Apprentice Millwright job include:
- Installation, maintenance, and repair of rotating equipment
- Fitting bearings, aligning gears and shafts, motor repair, coupling and belt connections
- Testing and optimization of equipment (making adjustments as required)
- Read and interpret diagrams and service manuals as required
- Troubleshooting activities as required

Qualifications of the Apprentice Millwright job include:
- Vaild Albreta Millwright apprentice certificate
- 2+ years of site-based experience on major oil and gas projects
- Valid OSSA orientation or BSO
- Up-to-date OSSA Fall Protection and Confined Space/Entry certificates
- Zoomboom operators certificate is a strong asset
- First Aid certification and other additional safety training is considered a strong asset
