Job Description

Will perform repair, maintain and modify manufacturing and R&D equipment within a clean room environment.


Responsibilities:
? Trouble shoot and repair complex manufacturing equipment within a clean room environment
? Respond to maintenance service calls, perform scheduled and unscheduled work, installations, and enhancements of machinery and equipment
? Ensure Quality System requirements are being met
? Work with multiple teams across the division including production, skilled trades and technical associates with the dual purpose of maximizing schedule efficiency and minimizing impact to manufacturing
? Document work performed per procedures
? Follow, write, and revise Maintenance and Calibration standard operating procedures
? Support other facilities with electrical controls technician needs as necessary
? Maintain compliance with training expectations as required for this position
? Perform additional responsibilities as required within the scope of position
Qualifications - External
Required Qualifications:
? 2 year electronic technician degree or equivalent trade school certification
? Minimum of 3 years in a hands on electronic technician role
? Experience working with electronic devices, solid-state devices, controls including stepper, servo motor systems, oven controls, as well as pneumatics, motors and gear drives, automation, oven controls, water systems, etc
? Experience with using diagnostics equipment such as Digital Multimeter, Oscilloscope, Amp Clamp and Calibration tools, computer hardware/software for motion control and instrumentation and temperature control systems, motion and motor control systems, and PLC/PC controls
? Solid understanding of the use of power tools
? Good oral & written communication skills
? Familiarity with Voltages up to 480 volts
? Proven ability with comprehensive trouble shooting, Basic electronics (electrical theory), electrical and mechanical drawings/schematics, measurement equipment (i.e. multi-meters, timers, calipers, etc.) and computer programs such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.)
? Ability to work independently and within a team environment, to multi task under pressure and giving careful attention to detail
? Ability to work at heights of at least 15 feet, lift 50 lbs., and work in challenging locations, on weekends and off-hours to meet customer needs

? Allen Bradley controls experience
? Experience with control panel wiring
? Experience with machine integration
